Hey there Peeps! Time to start another fun challenge at Reasonable Ribbon. This time it’s a Flower theme which was a no brainer for me…because I put flowers on like everything! I created A Moment in Time Card….but I think it works better as a shabby chic display. Can’t you just see this on a shelf tucked in with some milk glass vases and old books?
Did I mention flowers? Yes I do loose all control when I add the flowers because clearly more is better!!!
These gorgeous blooms are all Mulberry Flowers from RRR-Trellis Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, English Roses, and Spiral Stamens.
I’ve done a fair amount of layering here with a lovely bow of Chevron Striped Twill in Champagne, topped with an actual vintage button, and heat embossed A Moment in Time Chippie from Gypsy Soul.
I really added a lot of texture to this card by distressing the edges and adding texture paste with a flourishy stencil. All the layers have spacers between so this is very dimensional. For balance I added another small arrangement of flowers and twine.
My focal image starts with a Country Chic Frames digi collage from my very own shop. I added some chicken wire background papers and a lovely dragonfly diecut. More chippies for this corner too…Tulip Scroll Corner and Number Plate.
Okay now it’s your turn to create something fabulous with flowers and link up with us to play along in the Flowers with Ribbon or Trim Challenge.
Okay that’s all for me. Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
