Hello there Paper Peeps! Just popping in to share that we are starting a new challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon today! The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes With Ribbon or Trim. Which is basically awesome right?
I’ve created a little greeting card with an owl in a fall wreath.
I’m quite in shock at how many plaids and checkered patterned papers I was able to work into this card lol.
I added some lovely flowers that matched the ones on the wreath sticker.
More plaid in the bow….because why not?
I worked in quite a lot of spacers to add dimension and to keep the patterns from getting all squished together.
Okay now it’s your turn to create an Anything Goes with Ribbon or Trim project and link up with us to play along!

Hey Peeps! We’re starting a new Anything Goes with Ribbon or Trim Challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Okay. I’m just gonna say it. This may be the coolest graduation card ever. At the least it’s the coolest one I have ever made. This card was gifted to an awesome young man who is a friend of our youngest Son and a fellow Boy Scout. We are super proud of him. He has a very bright future I’m sure : ) Well done Zachery!!!
Did I mention it’s a shaker? And did I mention that I die cut and embossed those stars with a shiny silver finish? That’s how you an tell how much I like this young man.
I wanted the Pirate P to be inside the shaker…but I didn’t want it to get turned over or stuck in a carner so it’s secured in place with fishing line.
That’s one cool dude! we really have great school colors. Easy to find and work with and photograph.

Time for another fun challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon! This time the theme is Monochromatic and Ribbon or Trim. I created a very purply Birthday card and added layers of patterned papers, gorgeous ribbon .
This ribbon is Satin Swiss Dots on Grape and it’s too perfect!
I got into my stash of Graphic 45 for these purply papers. Matted with grape colored cardstock to tone down the busy patterns.
The card is finished inside with coordinating papers.
Scrumptious flowers from Petaloo. Botanica Blooms Lav/Purple, Faux Dried Mini, Chantilly Velvet Hydrangeas Violet.
These lovely Scribble Frame Butterfly chippies were easy to alter with a Spectrum Noir pen and some Stickles. I added some Prills also to finish off this card.
Okay now it’s your turn to create a fabulous Monochromatic with Ribbon or Trim and link up with us at RRR to play along.

Hey there! It’s time again for another fun challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The theme this time is Anything but a Card with Ribbon or Trim. I’ve created a pair of fun and festive and very patriotic tags…..which are the perfect addition to any summer holiday home décor.
I was inspired by these sweet little wooden hearts painted out with a chalkboard finish with a dash line edging. What a perfect base to add the embellies to.
Of course you have to have a double layer bow and this one has itty bitty stars squeeeeeee.
The sentiments are actually layered stickers. They have great dimension and a vintagy Americana feel.
I used spacers to add extra depth and allow room to secure the twine that’s added to the tag.
This tag is similar…but has a different sentiment.
The base of this tag is 110 lb cardstock with a rich blue and polka dot pattern layered on top. The back is finished in a coordinating pattern.
A double layer of doilies because you can never have enough of those…..along with matching flowers, pearly accents and iridescent stars.
Last but not least…..extra squishy tinsel topped crepe fringe.

Put A Bow On It then link up with us to play alongHey Peeps! Time to start another fun challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The theme this time is Put a Bow On It. I created a bright and cheerful card and you guessed it…I put a bow on it!
This fabulous ribbon is Satin Swirls in Apple and it coordinates with the patterned paper perfectly!
I wrapped the ribbon around the card base also and secured it on the back before addind all the layers.
Instead of my usual button with twine I topped off this bow with additional flowers to balance the heavy arrangement at the bottom.
This sweet sentiment was nice and big so it really is the focal image for this card.

Hey there Peeps! Well I bet you thought since we’re starting a new Show Me The Green Challenge that I would be making a St Patty’s Day themed project. Surprise! I didn’t hehe. I made a wall hanging inspired by a sweet and thoughtful sentiment from a cut apart on my fav new paper collection.
I’ve got an graphic olive colored stripe layered in with altered chippies and oodles of flowers.
There’s a strip of gold and white striped washi to coordinate with the butterflies. Vintage buttons are always the right answer.
So. Many. Flowers. Sisal and loopy bows made from twine are tucked in to fill in this generous arrangement.
Tiny resin lock plates are topped off with plaid cabochons layered on the embossed butterfly chippie.
More Petaloo flowers here along with tiny resin flowers. I’ve added a double layer bow topped off with a button, tag, and peraly stick pins. That gorgeous frame is a scribble frame with white embossing powder that’s heat set. Last but not least a pretty die cut doily in crisp white.
