Hey there Peeps and welcome to the October Blog Hop with Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The team is creating projects with the October Ribbon Club Christmas Assortment.
You should be coming to me from my dear friend Gloria. If you’re just joining in you’ll want to head on over to the RRR Blog to start at the beginning.
I’m loving the traditional colors of this collection it goes so well with this gorgeous vintagy Santa.
I’ve added so many fun seasonal embellishments.
Evergreen picks with sparkly berries are joined by large dimensional flowers and a festive jingle bell.
Chipboard flourishes finished in white with a bit of sparkle add lots of texture without competing with the busy patterns.
Snowflakes and vintage buttons and a large tag with eyelet and tied with twine helps to fill in this side of the card and balance the floral arrangement.
Of course you all know I love my die cut doilies and prills so I added those too!
Additional RRR supplies used are~ White Magnolias, Red Aster Daisy.
Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts~ Flourishes, Snowflake Shapes Set.
Okay your next stop in the hop is the lovely and talented Cheryl.
Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G
Hey there peeps! I’m dropping in to share what I think is the funnest summer card I’ve ever created. I mean it’s got a smiling strawberry..what could be more fun than that?
Hello Summer Strawberry All Occasion Greeting Card
These bright and cheerful colors just makes me so happy.
Polka dot and chevron striped ribbon trims are the perfect choice.
Inside the card is finished off with a coordinating stripe.
I turned a cut apart into a tag by clipping of the corners and adding a metal eyelet with twine. I’ve also tucked in a metal rimmed mailing tag and loads of yummy flowers.
Many spacers between the layers for a nice dimensional look. The die cut doily in the back helps to break up the busy patterns.
Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies~ Chevron Striped Twill in Red, Burlap String Ivory, 3D Foam Tabs.
Petaloo~Botanica Baby Blooms Red, Chantilly Velvet Hydrangeas Red.
Wishing all of you a happy and productive day : ) G
It’s almost time to ring in the new year Peeps and I’m pretty excited about the adventures that await in 2017. I created this sweet tag with a vintagy New Year’s Bingo Images
on layers of Nesting Ovals and topped of with Gardenia’s.
I cut these Gardenias from salmon colored cardstock then shaped them and finished the edges with heat set embossing powder. There’s also flourish leaves and spiral stamens.
Using spacers between the layers adds a lot of depth. The tag is topped off with perfectly coordinating ribbons and a pretty pearly resin rose.

Hey there Peeps. Ginny here to share a very festive Christmas Tag I created with many of my favorite Cheery Lynn Designs Dies and some fun patterned papers and embellishments.
I created the base for this tag with the Coved Rectangle Stitch and Cut die using the middle size to cut 1 from 110lb cardstock and 1 from red cardstock. I adhered these together to make a sturdy layer to add the rest of the sections.
Using the next size down in the set of Coved Rectangles I cut a layer from red checked paper and attached it with spacers between.
To add texture and detail I tucked in a section of Gauze Border that I snipped to fit and dovetailed. It’s held on with glue and a funky giant paper clip.
Christmas flowers are the funnest to make and these were a (slightly messy) blast. I created the Poinsettia with matching red cardstock and accented the tips with Sugar Glitter Paste before assembling. The center is pieces clipped from a berry pick and given a light coat of alcohol ink to color it to coordinate. The white flower is the Gardenia cut with crisp white. Every flower arrangement needs leaves so why not use Holly shaped leaves with a little inking on the edge and Stickles to make it extra festive?
A few last details like this Tiny Kaleidoscope Doily , chipboard sentiment and pearly accents are perfect for this tag and finished off with some snappy red and white stitched ribbon.

Hey there Peeps! Ginny here to share a card I created inspired by the Cheery Lynn Designs Large Sunflower Doily. I cut it out with Kraft paper and new instantly that it would look fabulous layered with creamy whites paper patterns. To anchor the warmer color of the doily I used a Kraft card base cut 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. To add texture and depth I used the Tonic Distressing Tool to tatter the edges and spacers between the layers. This arrangement of flowers has the Gardenia Strip and Small Gardenia Strip as well as the Miniature Rose, Dandelions, and Flourish #14. I’ve added a gorgeous ribbon bow, tag and vintage button to coordinate with the flowers.I cut additional pieces from the Kraft paper to add bulk and fill in the flowers. Bending the leaves gives them dimension. I used only 2 layers of the Miniature Roses with a pearl in the center to fill in the edges of the display.
Horizon Fishtail Banners and Square Frame elements are stacked up and secured with spacers for a delicate look. I finished this card off with pearly accents, a simple loopy twine bow and coordinating wooden clothespin. This card has a definitely country chic appeal.

Hey there Peeps. We’re starting a new challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon with a Celebrate Theme. So that’s like pretty great! I created a You Are Amazing Card to celebrate being awesome! There are gorgeous fairies with glittery wings, fussy cut and dimensional flowers, die cuts and doilies, a sweet metal charm and I used lots of spacers between the layers for dimensional. The card is finished inside with coordinating paper patterns.
For this You Are Amazing Card I’m using the new Mulberry English Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Trellis Rose, Yellow Chevron Striped Twill, and Ivory Burlap String.
Okay now it’s your turn to create a Celebrate With Ribbon project and link up with us to play along.
Okay that’s all for me. Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
Hey there Peeps! Well I’m just dropping in to share some mixed media tags I’ve been working on. I’m having wayyyy too much fun with the paints and stamps and inks and Gesso….and mostly texture paste!!!!
The dreamer tag has a digital image from our very own shop….Vintage Photos for Mixed Media which is totally fabulous if I do say so myself…I’ve already used 2 of the images!
I think these images are just too perfect for mixed media and altered art. Or cards, or scrapbooks, or tags……
Okay that’s all for me…off to make kits now. wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
