If you’re just getting started…you want to hop on over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog…then you’ll be on track to enjoy all the great project inspiration. I created a USA banner…because you can never have enough summer holiday decor.

I’m really enjoying the layered look of papers and images on a super sturdy canvas covered chipboard. That great patriotic image is from my vintage Patriotic Women Digital Collage from Polly’s Paper at Etsy  This sheet is pretty great as it is…but add a little Stickles???? Over the top awesome!!!!

I combined 2 of the ribbons from the assortment to provide a hanger and bows.  Red White and Blue Grosgrain, Electric Blue Satin with Grosgrain Edge, topped off with polka dot buttons. I also added some fun Tim Holtz elements like the metal clip and film strip acrylic ribbon.

USA Banner2These gorgeous flowers are Sugared Blooms from Petaloo….could they match any better??? Last but not least….handcrafted real glass glitter stars.

Okay that’s all for me….the next stop on the hop is my favorite Pink Chic Scrapper the totally adorable Miss Amber. Don’t forget to leave some love for all the designers sharing their inspiration…I know I will be!

Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G

  1. Sparkly and bright!! Your satin bows particularly catch my interest. Can you tell me how you do them? My satin (or grosgrain) bows are always chunky and thick. Also, the satin won’t hold its shape as it is so slippery… This is a continuing problem and I haven’t been able to find an answer. I love both of these ribbons but cannot seem to make a decent bow with them. I have a bow-maker of the style that Becca Feeken demonstrates in her tutorials and on YouTube. Help!!

  2. Wow! SO amazing! Those glass glitter stars are stunning. Do you have problems with the glitter falling off after it is applied? I love the look of that glitter but am afraid to use it since I have small children and if it falls on the floor they could step on it or ingest it and get hurt.
