Hello friends and crafty peeps! I’ve got another great tutorial for you all today : ) I created an easy and fun to make triple fold folio base that would be perfect for any collection or occasion.
I covered mine with the Around the Table collection from P13. This is a sweet vintagy kitcheny collection and I’m utilizing nearly an entire 6 x 6 pad to complete this project.
Included in the assortment of pretty patterned papers is cut apart sheets that can be fussy cut to create your own ephemera.
The pockets inside hold folded inserts. What a great way to increase the real estate in a small album.
The inserts are covered inside and out for a nice finished look.
I’ve topped one of the inserts with another of the kitchen scenes. I think it would be the perfect spot to add journaling.
These patterns work so well together. They did a great job of providing a variety of scale so you can stack them without getting a busy look.
I had so much fun making little arrangements with the ephemera. Adding a die cut doily and layering on an additional pattern really looks sweet and could be used as a photo mat.
The last insert has that glorious check!
Please join me for a tutorial on how I created the base…
