Hello there friends! Happy Sunday to all of you. I’m so thrilled to say now that it’s officially February I can throw myself into Valentine projects with reckless abandon.
For today’s project I created a very vintagy inspired wall hanging…..
Isn’t it just loverly? So many layers!!!!!!
I’ve layered the chipboard.
I’ve even layered the bows.
And topped it all off with layered flowers.
But not even I am expert enough to layer pearls : (
Won’t you join me for a video tutorial on how I created this project……

Hey there Peeps! Time again for another fun hop with the crew at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
We’re sharing the projects we created with the January Ribbon Club Valentine Mix.
You should be coming to me from Gloria. If you’re just joining in you’ll want to head on over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to start at the beginning.
I really love this bright and cheerful color combination.
Maybe I went a little overboard on the embellishments???? Naaaaaa.
A poofy bow is perfect topped off with twine, a vintage button and metal heart charm.
Die cuts and chipboard are layered here with a sweet little sentiment.
Can’t have a valentine card without flowers. That’s my rule anyway.
Itty bitty heart sequins and pearls are the perfect accents for this chipper and cheerful card.
Really Reasonable Ribbon~WOC Chrysanthemums Mixed Pinks, Hot Pink Rose Buds, Ivory Burlap String, Ribbon Club Valentine Mix.

Hello there Peeps! I’m happy to announce that we have a bit of a warm up here in Michigan. This morning it’s 52 degrees. This does good things for my disposition. I was in such a better mood that I was inspired to throw myself into Valentine projects.
I printed myself a copy of the Valentine Post Cards and Tags Digital Collage Sheet from our shop and created 3 very shabby and vintagy projects.
This card has a very untraditional color scheme. I coordinated the papers to the wrap on the cherub. Altered chipboard, flowers, twine, sequins, and metal embellishments are the perfect accents.
A sweet and simple tag has soft colors and vintagy finishing touches. Using spacers between the layers build depth and interest.
The cherub tag on this card inspired the peachy pink colors from the paper patterns. Stickles added sparingly brings out the details on the vintagy image. I layered die cuts here and a rather generously sized flower arrangement.
Please enjoy this video tutorial I’ve created for this card…..

OMGosh Peeps I am super excited today to be sharing the new Retro Valentine Deluxe Creativity Kit 2018. You all know how much I love to create kits and to take one for myself to make projects with. What makes this kit deluxe? It’s got all the fabulous papers and images and bows you’re all used to seeing in the kits created by Polly’s Paper Studio….and it also has loads of extra fun holiday embellies like doilies, tinsel, ric rac, flowers, clothespins, brad, bling strip, and red glittery die cut hearts : ) I am practically giddy.
Here are the projects I created with the kit and a few bits and pieces from my stash…..
I had so much fun creating these 6 projects and I have loads of supplies left from the kit to make at least 2 more.
Please enjoy this video I’ve prepared for the Hey Sugar Valentine Tag….

Hey there all you fabulous friends! Well it’s the second day of the new year and we are still in a deep freeze here in Michigan. The only way to combat the stir crazies I get from being stuck inside is to throw myself into holiday crafting.
I’ve created a sweet and simple Gate Fold Valentine Card with Belly Band. Make sure to scroll to the end of the post for the video tutorial on how I created this card.
I’ve decided on a non traditional color scheme here to coordinate with the holiday bingo card. With the band on you can see that there’s loads of paper layers and die cuts.
Sliding the band off to reveal the gate fold. I used the bingo card to overlap and add extra detail.
The inside is finished with coordinating patterned papers and is so so sweet with the die cut heart doily.

This is the most yummy collection of Valentine inspired ribbons and trims so perfect for your holiday and shabby chic projects.
I’ve created a vintagy inspired greeting card ….
Isn’t this just the dreamiest??? The heart balloon in the image were the inspiration for this card.
This combination of die cuts and patterned papers is so festive : )
Altered chipboard and tiny word stickers here to make a multi layer sentiment.
A simple and sweet bow created with the lovely pink ribbon is layered over lace and topped off with a glittery brad.
What’s better than a pretty paper doily? A pretty paper doily layered over a die cut doily of course!
I’ve added sequins and Prills here to add a bit of sparkle and shine.

Hey there my Peeps! Hope your 2017 is off to a fantastic start . We’ve just gotten back for our holiday break to the beach and although I am not a fan of the cold…I am a huge fan of getting back to my shop to create Valentine projects. Of course I whipped up a new holiday kit with loads of pretty patterned papers and images and bows….but I said to myself “hey self…wouldn’t it be way more funner to add flowers and tinsel and die cuts and banners and embossed panels and gold cord???” So I did!!!! And I was right…it was more fun : ) I’ve got 4 projects done so far and 2 more blocked out on the table just waiting to be glued together.

Hey there Paper Peeps! Ginny here and I’ve got a very sweet Valentine treat for you! It’s a shaker tag created with the oh so cool Hello Word Frames.
So much cuteness here I can hardly stand it!!!!! The secret to the success of this project is that the frame has straight sides to make it easy to cut the foam…otherwise I’d be in a big mess and glued to the project. Okay…I did glue myself to it….but that happens to me all the time.
I’ve pulled out all the sparkly bits and trims for this because that’s what Valentine is for.
I intentionally adhered the sequins around the edge for equal distribution of the colors and shapes. There’s hearts inside and pretty mint along with some holiday postage stamp cut outs. I didn’t want all the sequins to get squished behind the large stamps.
I finished off this tag with a charming little banner in mint to coordinate with the sequins.
Here’s how I made the shaker….
I started with the Hello Word Frame with the heart cut outs and a few patterns of holiday paper. There’s also some repurposed packaging from the flowers and foam that I traced and cut to fit.
I gave the chippie a base coat of white acrylic paint then used my dabber and pen to apply adhesive to the heart section. Next I sprinkled on the red glitter embossing powder and set it with the heat tool.
I glued the layers together with the sequins and stamps inside, then covered the edges with tinsel trim. Then I added it to my tag and layered on all the embellies.
I’m so pleased with how this turned out!!!! I think I’ll be making shakers with the rest of the frames from the package : )
