I’ve created this extra special chunky chipboard vintage Christmas Album for our next class at Polly’s. My Peeps have been working so hard all throughout July to get a jump on their holiday crafting and this class is to reward them for being awesome!!!!! I’ve included a ton of embellishments like large chipboard letters, crocheted flowers, rolled burlap flowers, glittery accents, pockets with tags and of course Stickling and lot’s of Really Reasonable Ribbon trims. And like a gagillian vintage images.
Anna, Anja, Sassy Linda, and Bobbie have reserved their spots already. If you want to join in….call me at the shop at 734-268-1109 during our regular business hours to leave your deposit and save your seat. The class is August 6th at 6pm. Cost for the class is $30 and includes everything to complete this project. This class is for intermediate skill levels and might be a challenge for beginners.
Hope you all have a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G
This time it’s a color challenge. Here is a peek at our inspiration picture.
For this challenge we were asked to use all the colors….which I just loved…so soft and shabby.
Here is my project….a layout of my Niece Olivia.
I dry brushed these flowers to coordinate with the shabby color challenge, then layered them over a great little mailing tag, pretty pearly stick pins, bits of lace and pretty doily donated by my dear sweet friend Anna.
Another grouping of flowers to anchor the other corner.
Here is a lovely layered and Stickled butterfly.
I added lot’s of Stickles to this pretty vintage printout….and to the crown and butterfly. The glitter is a nice finishing touch!
Okay…now it’s your turn to create a project for the color challenge…click on the link above for the rules and good luck to all who enter.
I hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative.G
Last week we hosted a fun little Glitterfest in the shop to celebrate a very special birthday for the most wonderful teenage girl I know. Hope you had a fabulous birthday Zoey…I love ya millions : )
Tables full of paperie goodies to play with. Vintage images, flowers, ribbon, tags.
I loaded all our supplies on antique candy servers, funky wire baskets, shabby chic wooden seed holders, cake plates, and ribbon covered pin boards.
More ribbon ( yes even RRR Trims lol ) Glitter of course, cant have Glitterfest without it. There’s also buttons and stickles and chipboard !
Punches and tags and doily’s and distress Inks.
Having a special place for everything made it look really sweet and girly, and made it super easy to clean up!
These were the sweetest girls. And very creative. Even after having pizza and cupcakes : )
That’s the birthday girl on the right. Love you Zoey. She is super beautiful…even if the pic is blurry.
I had so much fun with you girlies! Your projects are awesome. I should mention that the girls chose to watch Clue on Netflix while we worked. Talk about old school lol. Anyway it’s nice to be with girls….boys only want to watch zombie movies : /
Anja’s project is so fun. She totally love old campers and gnomes tee hee.
Zoey’s project is so vintage. Love it!
As you can see…glitterfest was a blast.
I hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative. G
