Plants In My Yard…..a Beginners Guide

Finally warm enough outside for the plants to start coming in. Here is a brief tour…I do not remember the names of most of these plant-trees. I will refer to them as I call them IRL.

We have a pair of these lovely flowering trees in our front yard. I call them “Bee Food”

Under these trees sound like the revving of motorcycles in the distance…there are hundreds of bees…thankfully I am not afraid of them!

Rabbit Food:

The packaging at the plant store lied….this shrub was only supposed to get to 12 inches across.

The ” I can’t remember if I planted these…or are they weeds???”

The reason we have sooo many deer in our yard:

The “You better enjoy them while they last flowering tree…one good wind or rain storm and it’s about to snow pink petals up in here!”

And last but not least here is a pic of our kitten Lily….who is not a baby anymore…but I thought friend Bobbie would love to see this:

And Then She Ran Out of Battery…..

Thought I might have some fun getting some pics of spring here in my little part of the world. I managed to snap a few of the beautiful trees in front of our house…..but as soon as I had enough sun….the stinkin rotten battery ran out. So here is all I can share today.

These pink flowers sure look pretty with the pond in the back ground.

A little close up. Kenny will be so happy I used the tripod lol.

This one has just the grass in the background.

This one is my favorite. The background is our big garage.

I also made a great new recipe found on pinterest. Chickenless pot pie. Very tasty and vegan. Think I might be saving the recipe for fall…as it seems to be more like comfort food to warm you up from the inside. Okay have to run now so we can get to soccer. Hope you all have a wonderful evening.
