Hey there Peeps! Just dropping in to share a sweet little framed wall hanging that I created with the new Serendipity collection from BoBunny. I had fun playing around with some mixed media supplies to create a great pattern and texture for the frame.
I’m using the …
Flower Fun Stencil

BB Confetti Paste
Pentart Antique Silver Metallic Paint
Pentart Antique Silver Delicate Paint

Hey there Paper Peeps! I’ve got a little steampunk inspiration coming your way inspired by some gorgeous masculine papers with hot air balloons. I pulled out some of my favorite steampunk chippies from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts and loads of mixed media supplies and beautiful flowers.

Here’s a look at how I altered the chippies….
The most important thing is to select chipboard that will enhance your project.
Even if I’m going to finish the chippies with dark colors I base coat them in flat white paint.
I used a very thick coat of Iron Paste from Pentart and allowed to dry. Next I globbed on 3D Matte Gel from art basics to add a lumpy bumpy texture, then heat set to encourage the bubbling.
Using a cosmetic sponge I dabbed and smooshed on loads of alcohol inks.
I finished up the card with flowers, micro beads and twine.

Hey there BoBunny Peeps! So much fun to be posting my first project here for 2017. I created my “1 Layout 3 Ways” with a generously donated picture of this sweetest little girl Liddy. She’s my BFF Kathy’s Granddaughter and she is just soooo adorable.
For layout (1) I’m using paper patterns from the Felicity Collection. I’ve added a light rubbing of Pentart Creamy Acrylic Metallic Paint in Rose then used the Brocade Stickable Stencil and Silver Contour Liner to add a subtle script pattern. Die cuts from the patterned paper, fussy cut clocks and elements from the Felicity Noteworthy set all layered to accent the picture.
Adding a border to the top and bottom for layout (2) and topping it off with a large section of fussy cut flowers.
Chipboard Stickers, stamped balloon, and additional elements from the Noteworthy package finish things off for layout 3.
Okay that’s all for me. Wishing all of you a happy and productive day : ) Ginny

Hey there Peeps! Well I’m all up in the mixed media supplies for this project I’m sharing today. The inspiration for this was the intention for it to be a Birthday gift for a dear friend who has a definite art style.
And here are the elebenty hundred steps I took to create this mixed media wall hanging.
First I chose a nice selection of Steampunk inspired chippies.
I moved them around on a large piece of extra thick chipboard until I had an arrangement I liked then glued it all down.
A coat of Gesso sealed the materials and neutralized the kraft color of the chipboard.
Using a small palate knife I added additional texture with structure paste.
Acrylic primer seals all the layers and prepares them for the sprays in the next steps.
Adding some script with texture paste. Make sure you allow this layer to dry well before continuing on. Do not dry with a heat tool unless you like the look of poofy embossing.
Using a variety of sprays I began developing a color background base. Allow to dry between layers…it took several layers to arrive at the depth of color I wanted.
After several layers of the sprays it was saturated enough. I defined the edge a bit with black acrylic paint and also made sure that the edges were covered as well.
This chippie has been covered in embossing powder and heat set then accented with alcohol inks.
I began the focal arrangement with some tattered corrugated box, inked lace, and mesh netting.
A kraft tag, the altered chippie and clock embellishment are secured on with mat medium.
This is finished off with additional embellishments like altered flowers, metal key and bottle caps filled with micro beads, cheesecloth, last but not least a sentiment added tucked in behind the tag.
I hope my friend Annie loves this project as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Okay that’s all for me. Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative.

Hey there paper Peeps. Today I’m sharing 1 layout 3 ways. This is a fabulous way to show the stages of design for a project that can be clean and simple all the way through fully decked out. Each step could represent a finished layout…but I am a more is better person so layout 3 is for sure right up my alley.
For the first step I layered many of the patterned papers from the Winter Wishes Collection with the fussy cut picture and used the Noteworthy elements to accent. I tattered the edges and highlighted them with Pentart Silver Antique Paste. Using silver cardstock helps to separate the patterns and coordinates well the snowy details. It’s really lovely at this stage….but more is better!!!
Two tags are tucked in behind and helps to bring the arrangement up into the top corner. With the Winter Fun Stickable Stencil and Primer Paste Gesso and Pentart Structure Paste I added the snowflake details layering them onto the background as well as the Noteworthy elements and tags.
And now with all the finishing touches it’s my favorite version. To give a frosty effect I added a generous amount of Sugar Glitter Paste on the tags and center frame section. The chipboard sentiment is a subtle accent finished with layers of coordinating embossing powders. Frosting Jewels helps to evoke movement. I’ve incorporated the Layered Chipboard Sticker to anchor the bottom of the pictures and to hide unfinished edges. Using the patterned papers I created flowers that match perfectly and are topped off with, Pentart 3D Balls and Sugar glitter. Last but not least a fine line of Pentart 3D powder to emulate snow. Special thanks to friend Missy for allowing me to use this picture of her gorgeous daughter taken before homecoming.
