Hey there Paper Peeps! Hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend so far. I’m just dropping in to share the fun project we will be creating in class this week. It’s a vintagy inspired Halloween Tag Book in a Box. I loaded it up with layers of patterned papers, vintagy holiday images, and super fun and festive embellishments.
Isn’t it spooktacular? I really had so much fun adding these embellishments! The box will be a great addition to seasonal decor…and family and friends can enjoy viewing the pictures and memories.
I’ve chosen really yummy ribbons to make scrumptious bows. All different…but coordinated.
Isn’t that the cutest little guy?

The backs of the tags all have pumpkin colored cardstock embossed with a spiderweb pattern!
Tuesday Night Peep Vicky wanted to work on Halloween projects and Peep Bobbie wanted vintage and cute. I think this will make them both happy : ) There are a few kits available: Halloween Tag Book in a Box. Will begin shipping Sept 6th.
Okay Peeps that’s all for me. I hope you enjoy your holiday. I’ll be spending mine taking and processing elebenty hundred pics. Traditional Styled Jolly Santa Banner
Have you ever found a trim that was just so right you had to have it???? Then create an entire project around it??? Yep me too lol. For me it was this candy cane striped tinsel trim….swoon…loved it….had to have it!!!!! So it inspired me to create a super sweet traditionally styled Jolly Santa Banner. For the Tuesday Chicks…..surprise….this is what we are making in class next week. You better be ready to work!!!!

I started with pretty paper patterns, added loads of Stickled vintage images, clothes pins, clips, bows, and the fabulous tinsel trim!!!! Thanks for the suggestion from Peep Bobbie for a traditional project : ) I really love how it turned out…..especially how it looks hanging over the cream colored bead board of the bookcase at the end of the island in my kitchen.
There are a limited number of kits available for those of you want to create the banner but can’t make the class. Click the Etsy link to hop over to the listing.
I’ve used lovely ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon for these bows…Totally Twill in Red and Chevron Satin in Red and White. Some of the vintage images I’ve used are from The Graphic’s Fairy.
Okay that’s it or today…..I’m off to prepare to join our family and friends to watch our Niece Crystal become the wife of her soul mate Brad. Should be a lovely ceremony and reception. I hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G

Vintage Christmas Tags
I spent some time this afternoon working on some sweet little tags I created with my new collage sheet….loads of Stickles, Inks and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
After printing the images…I added lot’s of Stickles and inks then layered them on some larger tags I had in the stash. These bows are sa-weet. I also added some little goodies to embellish them like flowers, buttons, and snowflake pins.
I’ve got a nice big pile left to embellish. I think these will make fabulous tags that can be on a gift…then taken off to hang on the tree to make a keepsake ornament. Or maybe to label a homemade treat? Or a banner????
Here is the sheet of images:
This sheet is available for instant download. Click HERE to get a sheet of your own to make fabulous holiday projects with. The image does not have the large black border when printing. Many of the great vintage images I used to create this collage are from Graphic’s Fairy : ) Gotta love em!
The trims I used for my bows are: Snowflakes on Red Satin, Cherry Baker’s Twine, Red Plaid, Red Wrinkle Ribbon, and Sweetheart Blossoms.
I’m off to watch the Tiger Game with my Sweetie. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your evening! G

Halloween Freebie Printable and Gift from a Friend
I’ve got two fabulous things to share today…one a surprise gift I got a few weeks ago from a super talented and super sweet new friend from Florida. And the other is a new freebie printable.
Jeanne Marie sent me this beautiful vintagy Halloween cone that she embellished and filled with goodies and treats : ) She is so generous I just had to share my gifty with everyone. Let me start out by saying…..cones are not so very easy to get pics of : / So there are lot’s of pics so I can capture the details.
Here it is hanging from the hutch in my kitchen.
She added layered paper rosettes and fun fringy trims. Can you see all the inking she did on the metal cone? Fabulous!
On the back there’s lot’s and lot’s of trims, a giant spider and black bling.
So many layers….swoon!!!!!
Say hello to my little friend….lol These little treats were packed inside the cone.
Not sure yet whats in this package…it’s too cute to open. I love that black glitter on the paper rosette.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Jeanne Marie for this wonderful surprise…it’s become a cherished part of my holiday decor…and I’ll be thinking of you every year when I decorate my home for the holidays : )
Last but not least….here’s another freebie printable from me to you. I kinda love it…I hope you do too!
Still haven’t got the in house IT dept to show me how to turn these into a jpeg…so for now you can just right click on it and save it to a file to print. For personal use only please….do not reproduce this image for items you intend to sell or add it to a digital collage sheet. That would make me sad : ( many of the elements here are from Graphic’s Fairy.
Okay…that‘s it for me….I hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative.
