Thank You Greeting Card

Happy November Peeps! I always love the start of a new month as I get to share the project I created with the all new Ribbon Club Assortment.

This is a very versatile collection and will work great for just about any style of crafting from shabby chic to traditional to whimsical.

I chose the greens and creams with gold highlight for this card. I think it coordinates perfectly with the updated floral.

These Magnolia flowers are a nice accent to the sentiment cut apart.

Of course I’m adding pearls and a doily…that’s how I roll.

An extra large clip with printed epoxy top is the perfect addition here secured on the sentiment section.

I clipped this patterned paper with the arrows and turned it on it’s side far additional interest.

Hello Fall Greeting Card

Happy first of the month Peeps! I’m sharing my first project created with the new Autumn Harvest Ribbon Club Assortment.

I am sooooo loving this collection of warm rich colors and patterns. While I’m not quite ready to give up summer..these ribbons make me dreamy for cool crisp air and warm sweaters and hot spiced cider.

This sweet fox image is also welcoming fall with a fun sentiment banner and perfectly coordinated patterned papers.

I especially loved this Tangerine Taffeta Ribbon. It’s just a bit vintagy looking and not super bright like regular orange. I layered on the pretty crocheted lace and topped them off with buttons.

Just look at this garden of fall inspired flowers!!!!!!!!! I am so in love : ) I’ve got this arrangement accented with the tiny acorns and burlap string.

I will be getting at least one more of this collection as it’s just too perfect for all of the projects I’m planning for fall.

Really Reasonable Ribbon~ Autumn Harvest Ribbon Club Assortment, Antique Gold Burlap String, Orange Sweetheart Blossoms, Cottage Roses Earth Tones, Magnolias Mixed Earth Tones.

Okay that’s all for me. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Santa Tag Christmas Greeting Card

Hey there Paper Peeps! Ginny here to share a great little Christmas card I created with some of my fav Cheery Lynn Designs Dies and Wood Grain Christmas Tag collage sheet from our very own shop.  I created the base for this card just slightly larger than a standard A2 size to allow a border around the Rectangle Stitch and cut layers.

Judy’s Blooms flowers created with subtly patterned cardstock and finished with glitter edges and 3D snowballs. I’ve also tucked in some Holly Corners with coordinating Stickles on the edges.

I clipped one of the flowers in half and tucked in under the edge of the tag and over a Nesting Doll Circle and burlap ribbon.

Wood tones and plaid paper patterns are the perfect pairing for a homespun inspired Christmas greeting card with evergreen cardstock borders. I used the darker green in the center card with a Horizon Fishtail Banner to anchor the arrangement.

A little mixed media supplies to finish off the flowers and image finishes off the card with festive style.

Happy Thanksgiving Peeps!  I woke up this morning…..poured myself a big cup of strong coffee…..tucked a cookie in my pocket and tiptoed down to my shop to work a little while the peeps at home were sleeping off our yummy big dinner.

I printed the Black Plaid Christmas Tags collage sheet and chose patterned papers, chippies, gorgeous flowers, and oodles of fun seasonal embellishments to layer on and created a very cottage chic and vintage inspired Christmas greeting card.

Floral Bird Card

Hey there Paper Peeps!  I’m dropping in to share a very vintagy inspired greeting card with lots of flowers and a sweet little bird.  This card is an A2 size with a lovely layered background of papers that are well inked.

These pretty blooms are clustered together with some flourishes, cheesecloth and a twine bow. I’ve also tucked in a cabochon styled embellishment with a coordinating pattern inside.

The brick background extends the arrangement and anchors it to the background. There are 2 here layered in alternating placement.

A Grateful Heart Greeting Card

Hey there Peeps!  Don’t ya just love when you find a perfect sentiment for a greeting card?  I found that very thing with this lovely thought….”Start Today With a Grateful Heart.” Something I try to do everyday because there is always something big or small that brings joy to your life; even if it’s the promise of a warm sunny day. Start Today with a Grateful Heart Greeting Card.

A Greatful Heart Greeting Card 1

I finished the fabby Gypsy Soul Laser Cut Chipboard pieces with a base coat of white acrylic paint then added several layers of metallic paints and sprays. Gold would be flashy and silver would be the wrong tone….so why not both? I love the vintage look and it coordinates so well with the patterned papers.

The chippies are layered with the papers and images.  Distressing the edges of the papers helps to add texture and spacers between builds in loads of dimension.
