These two weeks since the CHACB launch have gone by so fast…..we’ve been busy keeping up with commenting on the all the fabulous entries. I’m quite pleasantly blown away by the response….over 120 entries woot woot! It’s time to announce the next challenge…drum roll please…..
Challenge #2: Let’s See that Hoard!
This is a Color Challenge with a twist. Pick the thing or things that you seem to hoard the most, and using the color scheme shown below, create a project that showcases your hoarded item or items. Do you hoard buttons, beads, ribbon, papers, stickers? Show your hoard, but only the items that match the color scheme! (Please note, you do not have to use all the colors in the photo, nor match the colors exactly. Just use the photo and the colors to inspire you to dig through your hoard.)
Dig into that stash and link up your new projects to the challenge. You can find the Easy Peasy to follow rules HERE.
I can’t wait to see what all you clever crafters come up with! I’ll be sharing my project next week along with Team B.
This time it’s a color challenge. Here is a peek at our inspiration picture.
For this challenge we were asked to use all the colors….which I just loved…so soft and shabby.
Here is my project….a layout of my Niece Olivia.
I dry brushed these flowers to coordinate with the shabby color challenge, then layered them over a great little mailing tag, pretty pearly stick pins, bits of lace and pretty doily donated by my dear sweet friend Anna.
Another grouping of flowers to anchor the other corner.
Here is a lovely layered and Stickled butterfly.
I added lot’s of Stickles to this pretty vintage printout….and to the crown and butterfly. The glitter is a nice finishing touch!
Okay…now it’s your turn to create a project for the color challenge…click on the link above for the rules and good luck to all who enter.
I hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative.G
