Good morning Paper Peeps! I’m dropping in to share a very pink and very shabby Christmas Greeting card I created with gorgeous ribbon trims and flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and my Shabby Pink Christmas Creativity Kit.
Hey Peeps! Today I’m sharing what might possibly be the cutest thing I have ever made ever. I found the most adorable elf ornament and knew I would have to incorporate it into some fabulous creation!!! And I did. And I love it!!!! I also have a great coordinating canvas stocking made with supplies from Canvas Corp. Elf on the Shelf Tart Tin Ornament.
I can not even begin to tell you how much I love this ornament!!!!!! I incorporated all of my favorite trimmings like bottle brush tree, big flowers, berry picks, tinsel trim, tiny candy cane embellishments, tiny painted spools, a painted wooden snowflake and of course the super sweet and charming Elf on the Shelf in has classic pose : ) I used Red & Kraft Ribbon Stripe and Santa Sampler on White from Canvas Corp and Burlap with Red Center Stitch and Red Plaid from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
More awesome Christmasy paper patterns here on this Canvas Christmas Stocking~ I used Santa Sampler on White and Red and Ivory Ticking. Also from Canvas Corp~Red Hemp Roping and Canvas Jester Stocking. The fabulous loopy bow is created with Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon Red, Ivory Burlap String .
Okay that’s all for me…getting back to the shop to get the kit orders filled before the weekend! Hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
Hey there Peeps! Well I was pretty excited to see the Happy Holidays Edition of CardMaker Magazine on the shelf at Micheal’s Craft Store. Why would I be happy do you ask? Well because Polly’s has three lovely projects featured on pages 50-55. I’m sharing them here as well. You’ll have to pick up the magazine to get a complete product list and step by step tutorial for my three Christmas projects. Today I’m sharing an altered canvas frame.
I’m using the Farmhouse Christmas Paper Collection from Canvas Corp Brands as well as the Stretched Canvas frame. For a complete product list as well as step by step instructions pick up a copy of Happy Holidays Edition of CardMaker magazine.
Okay that’s all for me. Trying to get caught up so I can enjoy our busy upcoming weekend with a football game, tennis tournament, and camping with friends. Should be a blast….if I don’t fall asleep that is lol. Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
Hey there peeps! Happy Saturday to you all! I’m just dropping in to share a fun Halloween Stand Display I created with the Crafty Secrets Creating With Vintage Halloween CD.
Can’t go wrong with Black Plaid ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon for a generous loopy bow. I also tucked in some Antique Gold Burlap String bows to break up the dark colors and to match the flowers.
Funny story about this project I think we can all relate to. As crafters we are always on the look out for great bases to start our projects with. We have a local discount store that I peruse occasionally to find unique shapes or objects I can layer up with paper and trimmings. Such is the case with this nice wooden stand. So I listed the project in the online shop and it sold right away to one of my fav peeps. In my efforts to locate a box I could ship it in…I neglected to take the sticker from the discount store off the back. Boy is she gonna get a laugh when she sees it. But hey…it happens to all of us and we learn everyday…so the moral of the story is…make fabulous art….but remember to check for stickers before you ship sold items lol.
Okay that’s all for me…wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
Hey there Paper Peeps! I’ve been working on some new creativity kits. Always fun to have new paper and images to work with. With all the back to school goings on..I’m in the mood to work on fall projects. Not that I want the time to go any faster….it’s already hard to keep up with all the sport and scout activities. I’ve been playing with warmer colors and more richly patterned papers. And of course Fall images. We are vegan…so I’m not using any images of cooked turkeys… but there are great Thanksgiving images. Makes me think of apple cider and pumpkin pie and cool crisp air. Here are the projects I created with the Fall Harvest Creativity Kit…
Another tag and a treat box. Someone asked me what the little pumpkins were when I posted the Vintage Halloween Kit….they are from a bag of potpourri…I think they are little gourdes…but they look like pumpkins to me : )
I created these 8 projects with the items from the kit and bits and pieces from my scrap and salvage box. I have several images leftover and lots of paper to mix and match….so I be sharing more projects from the kit soon. You can find the Fall Harvest Creativity Kit Here. Okay that’s all for me…we’re off to town to pick up a few supplies to work on the lil camper today..hopefully it won’t rain. Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
Well hey there Paper Peeps. I hope all the Moms out there enjoyed their special day yesterday! I had a little work to get done but had some time to relax and spend with my family and had a lovely take out dinner..with lots of leftovers..so I won’t have to cook tomorrow either. Yay me.I’m dropping in this morning to share a sweet little Bless You Heart Wall Hanging I created with My fav Pink Chevron Twill and Pink Burlap String from Really Reasonable Ribbon and papers and vintage images from Crafty Secrets.
Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
Hey there Peeps! Sorry for the late in the day post..I had planned to work last night and post this morning ….but I had a nice dinner date with my hubby and a relaxing evening by the campfire sooooo needless to say I was up working this morning instead.
I’m sharing some projects I created with my new Things With Wings Creativity Kit. I will say that this is my fav kit so far…I am having way too much fun playing with these papers and images…I usually make cards but I’m all over with the tags and wall hangings too! Here are just some of the projects so far..
So I have five projects done…with the paper and images and bows from the kit along with bits and pieces from my scrap and salvage box. There’s enough large images and paper left to make 4 more paper pretties…so you know what I will be working on today lol. Here is a quick peek at the Things with Wings Creativity Kit …..
Okay that’s all for me…back to the shop to play with paper..it’s a tough job..but somebody’s got to do it lol.
Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : )G
