Summer Cherries Card

Hey there Peeps! I’m just dropping in to share a very sweet and vintage styled Summer Cherries card.

Summer Cherries Card 1

I combined patterned papers from Crate and Lily Bee to create a country inspired base for the Sweet Summer Cherries Image. Is there anything more vintagy than an old scale??? Summer Cherries Card 2

Sweetheart Blossoms are the perfect topper for this extra poofy and striped bow.Summer Cherries Card 3

Bee Inspired Creativity Journal

I couldn’t resist snagging the Bee and Bloom Collage Sheet and creating a little art journal.  I was having lot’s of fun playing paper with my dear friend Bobbie on our chilly wintry Saturday at the shop and even got a nice visit from Anna, Tracy, and cuppycake ( Anna’s super beautiful Grand Daughter.)  Such a nice day to spend with my Peeps!

IMG_2833I used one of the journal cards to start the cover, then added some text blocks, buttons and loads of Stickles.

IMG_2834I had this great little bee charm in the stash so I added it to the binder ring along with a metal rimmed mailing tag and a key charm. I think they’re charming lol….see what I did there……charming. I crack myself up lol. I added a very generous amount of  Black Gingham ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon as well.IMG_2836IMG_2837IMG_2838IMG_2839While I had all the paper pretties out I worked on an extra tag as well.

You can get the Bee and Bloom Collage sheet HERE.

Okay that’s it for me this morning…I’m off to work to prep for class. I hope you all have a happy and productive day and find some time to bee creative : ) G

Romantic Frames and Tags

I love this collage because it can be used for Valentine’s projects….and anytime you want just classic romantic images. I’ll be using this for lot’s of different projects! Of course when your working with these you want to add lot’s of trims and Stickles.

Okay that’s it for me….time to get the kiddo off to school : ) I hope you all have a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G

Retro Cards And Collage Sheet

Well I’m in the full Christmas swing at the shop and I’m having so much fun creating some jazzy retro inspired cards this week. I’m in the 50’s kinda mood…..

IMG_2636Awwww. I love this sleepy Santa. Lot’s of patterned papers, an image from my new collage sheet, Stickled of course, flowers, ribbon and buttons!!!!

IMG_2634This card turned out so festive and cheerful. I added some funky tinsel trim, a jingle bell and chunky chipboard pieces.

I used two of the images from my new collage sheet….Retro Christmas Bingo.  I can’t wait to get to work with the rest of the bingo cards. They are just the right size to layers in all the papers and trims!

I used Plaid Ribbon Red and Cherry Baker’s twine and Plaid Gingham in Celery from Really Reasonable Ribbon for my finished projects.

I hope you all have a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G

SAnta Tag Collage Sheet

The cooler weather is getting me in the holiday mood here in lower Michigan. I’m getting all set to create lot’s of cards tags and projects for my family and friends and I can wait to use the tags from my new collage sheet : )  I might even make some great Christmas ornaments for my tree…..like I don’t already have a ton of ornaments lol….more is better though right????

If you’d like a sheet of your own to create fabulous holiday projects….just click HERE. And if you make something wonderful…..please email a picture of your creation.. I would love to see them! Many of the images I used to create this collage sheet are from Graphic’s Fairy.

I’m off now to get caught up on kit’s and watch some Lion’s football! I hope you all have a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G

Two New Vintagy Collages

What to do while watching football? make collage sheets of course lol. It’s a perfect combination…especially since my Dear Hubby talks to the game I can pay attention and not miss an important plays. Our Detroit Lions won yay….but not our Tigers boo.

So here are my new collage sheets…I kinda love em.

SI’m calling this one Vintage Christmas Santa Post Card. I thought it would be nice to have some larger images since I know a lot of you make banners and holiday decor….so these would be great strung together on your mantle…or in frames or used to create beautiful Christmas cards.  You could even add some lovely Ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon and add them to your holiday tree : )  I like to have some larger decorations to fill in when the branches gap. My tree’s are older and well used and loved….so they’re a bit wonky : )

The next one I’m calling Vintage Birds and Flowers Journal Cards.

VINTAGE Birds and Flowers Journal CardI super love this one. It’s all shabby and vintagy with birds and flowers : ) And PINK!!!! These would be great for scrapping and cards and tags. I can think of a ton of ways to use these. The large black frame does not appear on the actual collage. Many of the images I used to create this collage are from Graphic’s Fairy.

Today I’m planning to get lot’s of kit’s ready to go to the post office tomorrow and bake some bread for the week. Sounds like a lovely day to me : )
