Hey there Peeps. It’s kit day. This makes me all kinds of happy!!!! I do so love a kit. All the little bits and pieces with so much potential. You all know I get a kit for myself to play with….because I can’t not get in on the action.
Hey there Peeps! Back again today to share the results of my crafty day of Valentine card making. I used the ephemera from the Simple Stories Romance Collection along with a few bits and bobs from my stash. I got all the paper pretties out and started The Lord of the Rings Audio Book to listen to and before you know it…..I had a big ol pile of holiday cards! Yes I know I’m geek….but in my defense I do live in a house of all boys so the entertainment selections are not very girlie lol.
Die cut doilies, flowers, ribbon, pearls, clips, and sequins for all these very sweet Valentine creations. The insides are finished with coordinating paper patterns .
OMGosh Peeps I am super excited today to be sharing the new Retro Valentine Deluxe Creativity Kit 2018. You all know how much I love to create kits and to take one for myself to make projects with. What makes this kit deluxe? It’s got all the fabulous papers and images and bows you’re all used to seeing in the kits created by Polly’s Paper Studio….and it also has loads of extra fun holiday embellies like doilies, tinsel, ric rac, flowers, clothespins, brad, bling strip, and red glittery die cut hearts : ) I am practically giddy.
Here are the projects I created with the kit and a few bits and pieces from my stash…..
I had so much fun creating these 6 projects and I have loads of supplies left from the kit to make at least 2 more.
Please enjoy this video I’ve prepared for the Hey Sugar Valentine Tag….
Ginny here to share two cards made from the same collection. In fact they are made from the same sheet from the new On This Day collection. Two cards with two very different looks…..
For the first card I went all out with the layers and embellishments. The sweet little snowman was the inspiration.
I created loads of added detail and texture with mixed media supplies and stencils. The 3D powder added to the snowman creates a frosty look. All the papers were edged with Pearlescents in Brilliant Blue.
I fussy cut snowflakes from the reverse side of the 12 x 12 sheet and added brads to create perfectly coordinating embellishments. To accent the edge of the image I applied a generous coat of Silver Glitter Paste.
I divided the Double Dot Flourish into two parts and added a bit to the top and bottom corners. Last but not least layered paper and crocheted flowers with ribbon and twine. A sprinkling of matching sequins to finish off this card.
For the second card I’m still using the images from the January sheet but this time going in a much more restrained direction.
I’m calling this a “woodland” inspired look mostly because there’s a woodland in the image behind the tag.
I brought in Double Dot papers in dot and chevron that coordinates with the tag. I’ve alternated the scale of the patterns to keep it from getting busy. Spacers between the layers builds in depth and dimension.
Instead of one large doily I added two smaller ones and added them in an offset orientation.
Double Dot Jewels and clear sequins add detail without being over-the-top-busy.
Hooray hooray it’s kit time again. Oh how I love to create a kit. And I love even more taking a kit for myself to use to whip up some projects. This time it’s a Jolly Snowmen Deluxe Creativity Kit 2017. I’ve included fabulous retro images, holiday patterned papers, pre-tied bows and a sleigh full of extra fun embellies like tinsel trim, twine, jingle bells, silvery snowflakes, bling, die cut glitter stars, and sequins.
Here are the projects I created with the kit…..
You can check out the supplies and paper pretties included in the kit…..

Hey there everyone! By ( very) popular demand I’ve added another Retro Christmas 2017Deluxe Creativity Kit to the shop. The first one sold out pretty quickly and sadly there was not enough to go around. I’m more than happy to oblige. This kit has new images and patterned papers from the previous kit and loads of fun embellies like jingle bells, twine, snowflakes, red tinsel trim, and pearly accents.

Hey there Peeps! We’ve been getting a lot of questions about why we don’t have a Halloween creativity kit this year. We did…it just sold out really quickly. So I’ve put together a new kit with different papers and images and fun embellies like twine, tinsel trim, wooden clothespins, paper doilies, and a pearly bling strip.
Here are the projects I created with the kit. I may have gone a bit crazy pants with the layers…but this holiday is meant to be fun so I say more is better!
I created all these projects with the kit and bits and pieces from my stash. I had 6 pieces of the paper and several images leftover so I can make tags yay!
Hop on over to check out this kit and to snag one for yourself to create some fabby vintage inspired Halloween projects. Vintage Halloween Creativity Kit 2017
Okay that’s all for me. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G
Hey there Peeps! Just dropping in with a greeting card so full of homespun country charm.
Yellow is not always my go to color…..but I’m quite please with it this time paired with warm woodsy brown.
Since it’s a countrified card, I’m adding burlap flowers and twine for a natural texture. Of course I added other more stylized flowers too to complete the arrangement.
This chevron ribbon makes the most perfect bow and topped off with the fancy brad, it’s just that much more awesome.
I always like the inside of my cards to be finished to coordinate with the outside.
If one die cut doily is good……then two must be better right? Last but not least a little clip and this card is ready to make someones day!
