Christmas in July Day 1 Merry & Bright Card

Standard

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! So excited for day 1 of our Christmas in July series. I just love getting a jump start on my holiday crafting. Today I’m sharing a sweet card I created with the Honey Bee Stamps Mugs & Kisses Die Set.

I love to create holiday cards in non-traditional color palates….but I think shabby pink is pretty common these days. I was able to use off cuts to create a little table scene then added the mugs on top. After die cutting the mugs I inked them well to develop depth and used a stamp set from my stash to add sweet sentiments. Handcrafted poinsettias made from the Rosies Studio Poinsettia add loads of detail without a lot of bulk. Of course I finished the arrangement with wrinkle ribbon, a few sequins, and snowflake charms. Remember to come back to morrow for day 2!

  1. You’re right about pink becoming an accepted color for Christmas…times have changed. I like the design of this card…LOVE hot cocoa theme cards…in all colors!! I can’t believe July has already begun…my Pandemic sense of time is really foggy and skewed. Glad you’re right on track with Christmas in July! You and Hallmark Channel! This is a good reason why you’re a professional designer and I am not…working on holiday themes way ahead of time is so hard for me! Happy to see this wonderful series beginning!
