Day 1 of 12 Days of Christmas in July Mini Album

Standard

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! It’s time for day 1 of our 12 Days of Christmas in July series on our YouTube channel. It’s also time for the hop with the crew at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

We’re sharing the projects we created with the July Sizzlin’ Summer Ribbon Club Assortment.

You should be coming to me from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog. If you’re just getting started you’ll want to hop on over there to start at the beginning.

I created a mini album that would work equally well as a planner or organizer.

I’m using the ribbon club assortment along with the Rosy Cosy Christmas collection from P13 for this album.

Inside there’s pockets and inserts. Plenty of room for pictures and journaling.

There’s also belly bands to tuck in bit and pieces that are better not glued down.

A sweet little envelope to hold special treasures has a tuck spot for the flap to tuck into.

Schneaky pocket pages are created by folding up the patterned papers to show 2 patterns at once.

Plaids and florals together is a glorious thing don’t you think?

I didn’t have journal cards for this collection so I made my own by creating clusters of the fussy cut images and adding a die cut doily and sweet sentiment.

Both the front and back cover have extra large sturdy pockets to hold bulkier items.

Wont you join me for a tutorial?

You’re next stop in the hop is my dearest friend Kathy

  1. Lots of summer colors that work equally as well for a bright Christmas In July project. Now that’s really demonstrating the flexibility of/ both, ribbon collection and artist! Well done, Ginny!!

  2. I wasn’t expecting to see a Christmas project with this ribbon assortment – but there are pretty greens, a red & a blue that work perfectly for Christmas. Your portfolio is gorgeous!

  3. The album is so super duper cute and lovely – I just adore that cover and I also like so much the envelop inside – it is a fabulous project! TFS
