Woodland Squirrel Greeting Card

Standard

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here to share a sweet nature inspired greeting card. I do love squirrels and all types of woodland creatures. We don’t get them too often on our property as we don’t have many big trees. We do however have really big birds like hawks and owls so the furry friends are not so safe and therefore choose to locate to more overgrown areas.

I’m using an image from the Forest Tea Party collection layered on some perfectly coordinated paper patterns from my stash.

I’ve given my fluffy little friend a pretty border of scalloped cut woodgrain and stacked it on a crisp white die cut doily.

Here’s a combination of flowers….some ready made and some made by me. I finished the handcrafted flowers with stamens and filled in the arrangement with die cut foliage, netting, and loopy twine bows.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

  1. Very cute focal point image! A few years ago, my grandkids lived in an area with gigantic pines all around them. They named all the “regulars” that visited their trees and deck…crafty little squirrels that knew no fear! We used to put out whole roasted peanuts for them (roasted nuts don’t grow when buried). They were so much fun to watch!! Thanks for bringing back memories, Ginny!
