Slimline Nautical Greeting Card

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here with a nautical inspired card in my favorite layout. Slimline! Now just because it’s my fave to make…..does not mean it’s my fave to photograph lol.

I had so much fun layering up these shades of cool blue patterned papers that coordinate perfectly with the sail boat image. I added a navy cardstock border to keep all the busy patterns separate. This shape also affords me an opportunity to stretch out the design and incorporate additional elements like the little die cut banner.

The tag with the boat was part of a larger 3 x 4 cut apart that I trimmed down with a stitched edge tag die. It fits much better now and it has extra detail. A nautical compass charm seemed like the perfect accent and adds a little shine.

I created the blue focal flower for this arrangement using the same navy cardstock so I know it matches perfectly. It’s layered up with some white flowers , netting, die cut foliage, and loopy twine bows. A short and sweet sentiment makes this card work for any occasion.
