Birthday Mini Album Flip Book with Tutorial

Standard

Hello friends and crafty peeps! I’ve got a fun project to share today that I created with some extra cute Birthday themed stickers I picked up from Little Birdie Crafts.

This color palate is so bright and vibrant and cheerful. Also elephants with balloons am I right?

This mini album flipbook is 4 1/2 x 6 so it’s perfect to document all those pictures and memories of a special Birthday.

I’ve gathered a nice selection of flowers for this arrangement. Some are from Little Birdie Crafts and some are from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Die cut foliage, loopy twine bows, and glittery stars help to fill in this arrangement.

I’m combing the stickers with some papers from my stash. What a great way to work through some older collections. I created my own “journal cards” so I could include these tip ins that add sooo much extra room for journaling.

If you’re trying to use up papers consider adding folded inserts. Covering all that surface really goes through the supplies.

I’ve come up with an easier way to add pockets. This one is finished with a zippy stripe and a sticker added on top.

A great way to highlight special pictures is to give them a fancy die cut frame and a bit of dimension.

I want a coordinated look when the flip books are fully open so I mirrored the elements on each side and used the same patterned papers.

Won’t you join me for a tutorial on how I created the base for this book…..
