No Valentine Paper? No Problem!

Hello friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here dropping in with a fun and festive Valentine’s Day project that I created with Christmas paper. Yes you read that right. I didn’t pick up any new Valentine collections this year. Not that I didn’t see any I liked. I’m just trying to be much more aware of adding to my already too big stash of papers. We’re in the homestretch of moving from our country house into a condo in the city so I will be thinking hard about every new purchase and if it serves me in the immediate future but does not add to my hoard.

I’m really enjoying the warmer richer color palate for this pair of greeting cards. Not all Valentine’s has to be pink and red and poofy am I right?

This is created with the Lumberjack Christmas collection that I picked up in the summer before our Christmas in July series on our YouTube channel. I was also using it during actual Christmas. Now I can draw from it again for this new holiday. Utilizing dies and stamped sentiments is what ties it all together.

They’re finished off with perfectly coordinating flowers and trims .

Join me for a tutorial on how I created these cards…..
