Hello friends and welcome to day 3 of our 13 Days of Halloween Tutorial series on our YouTube channel.
Today I’m creating a farmhouse inspired chalkboard easel.
This started with a simple unfinished easel from the Dollar Tree. I just love Dollar Tree crafts don’t you?
The easel frame was unfinished wood so I gave it a coat of flat white acrylic paint.
The chalkboard section was basically a textured vinyl but I was able to prime it just as you would a real chalkboard for an authentic look.
I used my Cricut to cut large numbers out of plaid paper. They’re attached with spacers for dimension. The easel is finished with arrangements of made by me flowers and coordinating trims.
Won’t you join me for a tutorial?
