Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Time for another fun and festive and oh so patriotic greeting card to get us in the holiday spirit.

4th Of July Tag Card Polly's Paper Studio 03

You might be noticing a theme of creating cards with different layouts. I realllly love this 4 x 9 card size as it gets me out of my comfort zone.

I’m still working with plaids and florals though. Because I can not help myself when it comes to plaid.

I was inspired by the 4th of july image from a cut apart sheet. To make it more interesting and to help it fit better I used a tag die with a stitched edge. This also give me the opportunity to bring in a little extra detail like the twine and eyelet.

I spent my Sunday last week making loads of pretty flowers in red, white, and blue so I could coordinate them to my patriotic projects.  I find that when I have a whole heap of them already  made I reallly layer them on.

I worked in a second plaid for the win! This ribbon is dressed with a pretty sparkly ribbon slide and finished with a small glittery star.
