Raised Panel Greeting Card with Tutorial

Standard

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here to share a raised panel greeting card. I’ve wanted to try this style of card for some time but was really intimidated by the thought of measuring and math so I came up with an easy solution….rectangle dies!

I’m working with the Wonderland collection from Stamperia and I think it coordinates with the flowers perfectly!

Adding in subtle details really gives and big impact. Here I used a distress tool to rough up the edges of the paper , stitched the paper, and included netting for a great textural element.

The collection papers had whimsical dragonflies printed on and even though I did not include those images I was inspired to include dragonfly charms. It’s tucked under a pretty matching bow created with satin checkerboard ribbon.

To accent to individual raised panels I gave the edges a coating of my favorite glitter snow product. Last but not least shimmery sequins for a bit of sparkle.
