Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here with a card to share that’s a bit of a walk on the wild side. I’m using some very non-traditional Valentine crafting supplies to create a nature inspired holiday card.
Who says Valentine’s projects have to be pink and red? Not me that’s for sure.
Even though I didn’t use the typical color palate I still wanted to incorporate my regular layering techniques.
A sentiment spelled out in chunky gold Thickers fills in that heart nicely.
I created these flowers with the collection papers so I knew they would be a perfect match. I switched out my regular burlap string for thicker bakers twine in a natural color for a better match to the nature inspiration of this arrangement. I’ve also tucked in some die cut leaves in a mirror cardstock finish and glitter hearts to brighten up this display.
Last but not least a ribbon tied with a bold check pattern and heart charms for accent.
