Snowfall Winter Greeting Cards

Standard

Hello there friends and Authentique Paper fans! Ginny here with a set of oh so sweet greeting cards created with the new Snowfall collection.

I love that snowman is a theme that works all winter long ( especially in my neck of the woods) for card making.  It’s more a season than a holiday.

I’ve layered up the gorgeous patterned papers using the Spectrum cardstock as a solid border to keep it from looking busy.

That lovely image is from the Elements Diecut sheet.  I decided to continue the banner shape with a die cut of the patterned paper to build up the focal point.

I used a doily die cut with crisp white cardstock to brighten up the front of the card. That circular snowflake image is also from the Elements sheet and it make the perfect landing spot for a vintage button and dangling metal charms.

These flowers are made by me from coordinating glitter cardstock. I love the sparkly finish and dimension they add. I’ve tucked in some foliage and loopy twine bows for an extra full arrangement.

That Elements Sheet had two lovely images with the same shape so I couldn’t leave one behind. Now I have two lovely wintry greeting cards  all set for the season.
~Authentique Paper~ Snowfall Collection: One, Five, 6 x 6 Paper Pad, Elements Cardstock Die Cuts.
Spectrum Cardstock: Caribbean.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) Ginny

  1. I LOVE both these winter cards! The charms are perfect embellishments. I like that the charms dangle so nicely beneath the button element. I’ve finally picked up some smaller jingle bells to use on card fronts…thanks for this lovely example. Nice choice of the blue paper for the flowers…understated glitz that doesn’t overwhelm the rest of the card. All the layers are so nice on this card. Beautiful work!
