Be Brave Mini Album for Authentique

Standard

Hello there and Happy New Year to all my friends and crafty peeps!  I’m sharing my first project of the year for Authentique Ppaers with the amazing Quest collection.  What can I say about a collection with these gorgeous paper patterns and vintagy images except that I am in love!!!!

I did a fair bit of fussy cutting to create a layered focal image of this hot air balloon from one of the journal cards. I’m really drawn to the stripe on the balloon that reminds me of airmail.  There’s quite a few patterns here stacked up then accented with handmade flowers, ribbon and twine, and a die cut doily.

The first flip reveals pocket pages. I’ve paired the Denim and Red Licorice cardstock from Authentique for a multi layer matting because more is better! I used that Denim to create pockets to hold inserts.

The inserts are large and have tip ins added to the sides to allow for use of the entire journal card images.

Inside the tip ins are the numbered day journal cards. How handy is it that they are lined. Perfect for adding journaling!

The inserts are finished inside with coordinating papers.

How gorgeous are these pockets???? I am so crushing over that paper!!!! I utilized the Elements sheet for images and sentiments to finish the pockets.

One more page flip reveals another angled pocket with folded insert and a double pocket page that holds the remaining numbered day cards.

I continued the double matting and paper patterns for a consistent look. These tags have additional room on the back for including favorite memories.

The last flip has large pages for bigger pictures and mementos.

Travel themed charms are added to the cover with a generously sized and perfectly coordinated satin ribbon bow.
Please enjoy this tutorial and flip through video…..
