Christmas Pocket with Tags and Flip Book

Hello there friends and crafty Peeps. Well it’s Christmas eve and I’ve been waiting so long to get to share this project I created for our group post on the Authentique Blog.

I’m using the gorgeous Solitude collection for this winter inspired pocket full of tags and a mini flip book.

I may have gone a bit overboard on the front of the pocket…but hey that’s what holidays are for right?

Trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon and flowers from Little Birdie Crafts are the perfect accents for this fun and festive project.

I love the pocket even with all the goodies removed. That sweet bird paper is so pretty!!!

This embellishment is created with a die cut element layered over a glittery punched scalloped circle and a dimensional paper rosette .

Two tags and a folded insert have loads of holiday details.

Last but not least a sweet mini flip book to add favorite Christmas pictures and memories.

The best thing about a flip book is you get something new with every flip!

Don’t forget to leave room to add journaling.

Cozy Mittens Card with Video Tutorial for GSL

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here to share a cozy mittens greeting card created with the gorgeous chippies from GSL.

I just love the homespun country inspiration of this card.

I altered the mittens to look hand painted with a little help from some pretty plaid paper.

The border strip of snowflakes is layered over embossed kraft paper. A bit of faux snow on the edges of the paper for a frosty look.

Some handcrafted flowers and die cut foliage are a nice touch for this whimsical card.

Red satin with swiss dots ribbon and burlap string are stacked for a perfect poofy bow.

I wiped down the chippies to prepare them for finishing. Trace the backside of the mittens onto patterned paper and clip out.

Adhere the cut paper to the fronts of the chipboard with good wet adhesive.

Use a file to clean the ragged edges. In the same manner prepare some glitter paper to be the fuzzy tops of the mittens.

Water down some white acrylic paint and add light layers to the patterned paper until you reach the desired amount of coverage.

Add a dot and dash line with a white Unibal pen.  Trace select lines of the plaid with clear Stickles to begin adding detail back to the pattern.

Add tiny punched hearts. Once the first layer of Stickles is dry add additional lines with red.

Blessed Bee Greeting Card

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Just dropping in with a bit of card inspiration for you. I’m using the new Prima Spring Farmhouse collection which is pretty dreamy if I do say so myself.

And it has buffalo plaid sooooooo it’s basically gorgeous.

I’ve created a 4 x 9 inch card. This is fast becoming my favorite size of card to make.

I’ve added a garden of pretty flowers from Little Birdie Crafts and Wild orchid Crafts.

The bottom has pleated canvas topped with vintage buttons.

I’ve added a sweet silvery bee charm and a mailing tag topped with a punched circle from the patterned paper. These are clipped on and topped with more pretty flowers.

Spacers between the layers to provide maximum dimension.

Roses and Lilies Printable and Projects

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Dropping in to share some projects I created with the new Roses And Lilies Printable from our shop.

I added a crackle finish to chipboard to create a frame for the image and added it to this very layered card.

I created this card in a snap with the printed image and lovely shabby chic inspired papers. A simple is bow added and I’ve got a perfectly sweet and simple greeting for all occasions.

This tag doubles as decor with the chenille stem hanger. The image is die cut in a circle to create interest. Pop it up on a spacer for a great custom embellishment. Add a little Stickles for sparkle!

This large tag is a beautiful vintagy accent. Add a sentiment and add it to a gift for a double treat.

Please enjoy this video for a step by step tutorial on how I created this tag…
