Wild And Free All Occasion Greeting Card

Standard

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Happy Tuesday to all of you : )  I’m just dropping in with a card I created with the gorgeous Sea Maiden collection from Authentique.

Wild and Free Greeting Card All Occasion Polly's Paper Studio 02

This card has loads of layers of the papers from the 6 x 6 paper pad.

For extra texture and detail I added a double layer of stitching around the outside of the card and a layer or faux stitching for the inset section.

Pretty flowers to coordinate with the collection with twine to fill in the arrangement.

For a more natural organic look I distressed all the edges of the papers. Sequins are a great way to add detail and this assortment had some shaped like itty bitty sea shells.

There’s some “netting” tucked between the layers to work on the nautical theme.

I’ve had some epoxy topped sea inspired embellishments in my stash waiting for the right project and I can’t think of a better one than this!
