Hello Greeting Card

Standard

Hey there Peeps! Ginny here dropping in to share a sweet little greeting card. I’m embracing a CAS style with graphic colors and dimensional flowers.  This is an A2 sized card cut from black cardstock with coral and white layered on top.

I created a texture for the background by cutting several sets of Flowers in white and adhering them to a white background.  Then I inset another layer of just white bordered with the coral and black. This gave me a solid base to attach the Flourish and Cherry Blossom Flowers.

This simple Hello sentiment makes this card perfect for any occasion.

Okay these Cherry Blossom flowers are making me all kinds of happy. Once cut they were shaped and stacked and topped off with the leftover pieces from the background and a sweet little gray pearl.  This is a small bow for me..but it’s perfectly suited to finish off this card : )

Okay that’s all for me. Wishing all of you a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G

  1. Such a lovely card…pretty in all the right places. I find your white on white background to be quite interesting. I think I would have thought about embossing first. This additional layering really adds a different texture to that background. My eyes are drawn to that green stem flourish…so pretty. Thanks for posting this project.
