Anything But a Card Challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon

Standard

Hey there Peep! Well we are starting a new challenge at RRR and it’s a super fun theme this time “Anything But a Card with Ribbon.”  I mean you could make anything….but a card. The mind wobbles at the possibilities!!! I created a fancy little treat packaging that can be used again and again simply by adding a tasty goody and maybe a gift card to a small bag and punching holes to string the twine to attach it to the holder. I mean how great is that???

Vintage Children Treat Box 1

I thought to myself…..if you want to use it over and over why not make it pretty right? So I selected a vintagy image with sweet children and layered it with a lovely little die cut doily, flowers, lace, Brown Burlap String, metal embellishments and of course perfectly coordinated Burlap Ribbon.

From this angle you can see how much room it has inside for treats. The inside is finished with coordinating paper.

Petaloo flowers are perfect for this project with an almost fall inspiration.  The texture from the velvety flowers is just dreamy.

Vintage Children Treat Box 4

A few more blooms for the top along with string and a pretty metal key embellishment. You can see how easy it will be to add more gifties to this packaging simply untie the twine add a small bag of treats and retie.

Okay now it’s your turn to create a fabby project that’s Anything But a Card and link up with us to play along.

That’s all for me. Wishing all of you a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
