Hey Peeps! Time to start another fun challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon. This time the theme is Monochromatic and Ribbon or Trim. The trick here is to use lots of texture and embellishments…and of course fabulous ribbon!
As you can see I chose lot’s of creamy whites. I even finished the chipboard pieces in white.
These lovely flowers are English Roses. I worked the outside petals a bit to great a less compact bud. The middle flower is a White Magnolia. I replaced the yellow stames in the center for white ones and they fit into arrangement beautifully. Antique Gold Gingham Ribbon fills in the corner and topped off with Ivory Burlap String and pretty pearl picks.
Using embossing folders, edge distressing and foam spacers adds texture and depth. There’s a bit of stretched cheese cloth to soften the edges and pretty pearls as the perfect finishing touch.
Okay now it’s your turn to create a fabulous project with a Monochromatic theme and link up with us at Really Reasonable Ribbon to play along.
Wishing all of you a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
