CC Ornament Tutorial 7Top off with a sweet poofy bow, twine, painted bell and stamped tag.

Nordic Christmas Ornaments 1Now make a big ol pile of them and decorate your tree or keep a basket of them handy for friendly folks who drop by during the holiday season.  Or maybe a random act of kindness gift????  Or hostess gifts?? Or teachers???? Okay well I think I need to go make more lol.

Merry Christmas Snowman Card

Standard

Well hello there Paper Peeps!  I’m hoping you all enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving holiday. I don’t happen to enjoy Black Friday shopping so I’m getting ready to settle in to my shop and hopefully get lots done. Yesterday between the cooking and eating and cards I was able to sneak down and create this Merry Christmas Snowman card. I kinda love the country charm of it. It’s not fancy..but well embellished with warm colors and a charming snowman image.

Merry Christmas Snowman Greeting Card 1Merry Christmas Snowman Greeting Card 2 Merry Christmas Snowman Greeting Card 3 Merry Christmas Snowman Greeting Card 4 Merry Christmas Snowman Greeting Card 5I’m using lots of bits and pieces for this and and some papers from my stash.  The ribbon is Swiss Dot Satin in Red from RRR and the flowers are from Petaloo.  There’s a funky little dimensional sentiment along with a perfectly coordinated clothespin holding a stamped tag with a brad.  I also added a few flourish diecuts to give the impression of swirling snow.  Merry Christmas Snowman Greeting Card.

Wishing you all a happy and productive day whether you spend it out shopping or home relaxing and getting your craft on : ) G

Thankful and Grateful Card

Standard

Happy Thanksgiving Peeps! This card is for a special assignment we were given from Graphic 45. Very specific instructions to create a project and share about the things we were grateful for. My list started with the obvious family and good health and faith…but there are so many more blessings in life we enjoy and have more added everyday so I created a digital image sentiment to say just that..thankful and grateful every day in a fun subway art style then added papers from Graphic 45 with lots of layers of inks and sprays and gorgeous flowers from Petaloo and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Blue Christmas

Standard

I love Christmas cards in non traditional colors and the lovely winter scene from the Ephemera Card was the inspiration for this project.  I layered the patterned papers with a nice blue solid cardstock then added large dimensional flowers and ribbon trims and berry picks.  This card is a keeper to add to holiday decor nestled into an evergreen roping on the mantle.

Where the Tree Tops Glisten Christmas Greeting Card

Standard

Hey there Peeps! Have you missed me this weekend???? I’ve missed you!!! We were gone for a fun trip up North to celebrate the wedding of our Niece and do a little sight seeing and shopping. We were expecting a little snow while we were gone…..but wound up with 12 inches yikes. My DH treated us to a lovely hotel that was very charming just like on the show Newhart. Remember that show with Bob Newhart when they had that that Inn in Vermont? Right on the Lake and it had a fabulous view…
