Hey there Paper Peeps. Well we are back from our family vacay to the beach and I can tell you I am not enjoying the fact that it’s 6 degrees here in our part of Michigan….and we got snow last night too….I think it’s time to hibernate!!! Maybe this sweet retro Valentiny card will warm you up a little : )
Isn’t this the most precious pooch??? I just love him. I layered him over fun retro images and pretty patterned papers. I found that cute envelope in the clearance Christmas items at the craft store and with careful placement was able to cover the candy cane image…now it’s for Valentines. I win!!!! The bow is made from Red Center Stitched Burlap and Red Burlap String topped off with a matching button. The trims come from Really Reasonable Ribbon of course!
I used my new Retro Valentine Creativity Kit 2015 for the paper and images….this was a really fun kit to make choosing the retro images and matching them to the patterned papers….red and teal are like the bestest holiday combination. This is a 57 piece kit perfect for creating cards, scrapbooks, banners or labels for tasty treats : )
Follow the links for an itemized list of whats in the kit and how to get one of your own to get your Valentine craft on!
Wishing you a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : )G
