Gift Bag and Card Tutorial with Graphic 45 Deluxe Edition Baby 2 Bride

Hey there Peeps! This is an awesome day for a tutorial don’t ya think? I do!!!! I’m sharing 2 projects that I created especially for Graphic 45. They asked us to create a card and matching gift bag…how fun is that??? I’m choosing the Baby 2 Bride paper collection because I have a family member who is getting married soon…so it was perfect timing…yay!

Oct Card and Bag Assignment 1I thought to myself…self..there is no need to reinvent the bag right? Right. So I started with a bag that I had recently received a gift in from my dear friend Anna : ) It was just the right size to hold a small gift and the card.  I took it apart and measured it…and recreated it with the beautiful patterned papers…this is super easy…all you have to remember is that you really have to score the fold lines with this nice thick paper.

Oct Card and Bag Assignment 2I really loaded up the front of this bag with paper pretties and flowers. The scrumptious Satin Swiss Dots on Topaz ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the flowers are from Petaloo.

Oct Card and Bag Assignment 3I mixed up the paper lines here a bit and added this sweet little birdie from Botanical Tea…the color matched perfectly….ohh and since it’s for a wedding I added a little pearly bling : ) I created the flower with my Heartfelt Creations Stamp. The ribbon is Burlap in Antique Gold . I layered it up with Danielle White Crocheted Lace.

I’ve got a great tutorial here for both project:
