Well good morning to all of you fabulous Paper Peeps! Today begins a new Challenge at C.H.C.A.B. This time the theme is “Pick a stamp, any stamp.”
We have an extra special prize this time generously donated by the folks at Hampton Art:
Hampton Art, founded in 1980 in picturesque Long Island, NY, has been inspiring stampers, crafters and papercraft enthusiasts for over 20 years. One of the earliest “art stamp” companies, Hampton has transformed over the years to become a complete provider of creative products such as stamps, inks, papers, kids crafts, stationery, scrapbooking supplies, and card making accessories for crafters of every age and skill level. We focus on working together with other companies through strong, personal relationships and licensing partnerships to consistently bring fun, inspiring products to market. We have a portfolio of brands including Hampton Art™, Studio G™, Diffusion, Ditto™, and our latest addition, Ki Memories®, acquired in 2012. Our products can be found via most national craft retailers at over 5000 stores across the US and Canada. We also ship to 20 different countries across the globe. Hampton was acquired by National Spinning Co, Inc. of Washington, NC, our current home, in 2008. For more information, visit our Website. ******The prize is the rolling craft cart only and does not include the craft supplies inside shown for the purpose of display only*****
I decided to create a card. I stamped the sentiment as well as the layered flowers.
I added a whole lot of bling and flowers…and flowers with bling on top , and paper patterns from KI Memories. The beautiful ribbon is Capri Blue Diamond Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I created the blue flowers by stamping the flower image on light blue cardstock….trimming them out, cutting between the leaves and layering them. Last but not least I topped them off with a large pearly center.
Okay…now it’s your turn to get your craft on and make a great project using a stamped image as your focal point…then link it up HERE to play along with us in the challenge.
The other fabulous girlies on the Design team have come up with some projects that will really knock your socks off….hop on over to check em out and leave them a little love for their wonderful projects! I know I will :
Just in case you missed my last post….we shared our new video tutorial for the Mini Vintage Book.
This is the little book we added to the Olde’ Curiosity Shoppe Collage…we got lots of requests for a tutorial and I’m happy to announce that we got all the way through the video without me hot gluing myself to the little book…boo yah!
Okay that’s it for me this morning…I’m off to do the grocery shopping and work on kits for tomorrows class : ) I’m wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
