Romantic Frames and Tags Cards

Hello to all you Paper Peeps! I hope you are having a fabulous morning : ) I’m dropping in to share some sweet cards I created in a classic romantic theme.

I used my favoritist pink trims from Really Reasonable RibbonCircus Dots Grosgrain Light Pink, Wired Woven Chevron Pink, Chevron Grosgrain Pearl Pink.

I started these cards with my new Romantic Frames and Tags Collage Sheet, then used lot’s of papers and pretties from my scrap and salvage box…yay for stash buster projects.

Romantic Frames and Tags

I love this collage because it can be used for Valentine’s projects….and anytime you want just classic romantic images. I’ll be using this for lot’s of different projects! Of course when your working with these you want to add lot’s of trims and Stickles.

Okay that’s it for me….time to get the kiddo off to school : ) I hope you all have a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G

Valentine’s Day/ Love and Ribbon Challenge and New Desing Team

You know I’m all over this theme for the next challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon. I’ve been in happy  hearts and glitter mode for a few weeks now. This card is  super retro. I love the red and teal colors and oh so cute little girl image.

IMG_2799A rare occasion I got my cricut down to cut this sweetie sentiment. A sweet heart shaped doily donated by dear friend Bobbie.  There’s also a cute double layer felt heart embellishment and tiny clip.

IMG_2802IMG_2801I created this super poofy bow with Chevron Striped Twill and Burlap Center Stitched Red. I have to admit I am totally crazy over this burlap ribbon. It has all the look and texture of the wonderful natural burlap….but it’s “squishable” enough to get a good tight center for an extra poofy bow : )

Now it’s your turn to get your craft on and create your own Valentine and Ribbon project and enter the challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings.

In other big news…..I’ve just joined the Design Team at Craft Hoarders Anonymous. I think this will be an awesome opportunity to work with other very talented designers to bring you lot’s of inspiration and super fun challenges. You should hop on over and check it out.

I hope you all have a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G

Vintage Valentine Mini Album

Well we had lot’s of fun and lot’s of laughs in our class last night…and we even managed to get our projects done too! We created this super sweet Vintage Valentine Love Mini Album.

IMG_2797The front cover has a lovely vintage image ( Stickled of course) hand crafted tinsel topped crepe fringe, flowers that have been inked, pearled, glittered, and finished off with a pearly stamen center. Many of the elements have been raised on foam dots so it’s very dimensional. A tiny little clip is a cute addition.

Vintage Valentines Cards and Kits

Here are more vintagy Valentine cards. I’m really enjoying adding hearts, bows and glitter to everything.

IMG_2770IMG_2779IMG_2781IMG_2782IMG_2783IMG_2784I made all these sweet Valentine’s with my new Vintage Valentine Kit. It’s got charming vintage images, bingo cards, sentiment banners, tickets, labels, bows and handcrafted tinsel topped red and white crepe fringe.  All the pieces are printed on 65 lb weight cardstock and are pre-cut……so all you have to do is create lot’s of fabulous holiday projects. I can just see these used to make cards, banners, tags, or add them to your scrapbook.  What a fun kit to work with to help your “little crafters” make special cards and gifts for their teachers and grand parents.  I was able to use paper from my scrap and salvage box… it’s a great way to work through your stash.

Ribbons from this kit: Glitz Red, Glitz White, Iridescent Edge White. All from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Okay…I’m off now to join my D.H. in the first round of shoveling. We got about 6 inches over night…and expecting about a foot total before it’s all done… least it’s a good work out!

I hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day and find a way to stay warm and cozy : ) G
