It’s time again for another super fun Blog Hop with Really Reasonable Ribbon. This month the design team are sharing the projects we created with the December Ribbon Club Assortment.
Isn’t this a great selection? I just love that it works not only for Christmas projects…but right on into winter creations too!
Okay…you all know how this works…you should be finding your way here Kathy. If not….better start at the beginning so you don’t miss out on any of the creativity…..Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings.
We had fun with this ribbon assortment in class this week….we created several Christmas ornaments….with lot’s of festive details.
This ornament is a pocket made with vintage sheet music. I embellished it with a pretty snowflake, printed images. Double layer of bows, tinsel trim and a sweet tiny bottle brush tree. I Stickled it up to show of the details. Not sure how long that candy cane is gonna last is a house full of boy’s but for now it looks nice.
This ornament started with a purchased ornament in the shape of a gift…it’s very glittery…maybe that’s why it caught me eye. lol. We added a beautiful vintage image cropped into a circle then layered over a coordinating scallop, paper rosette and small banner shape. I topped off the ornament with a bow of silver ribbon and twine in oyster and a jingle bell. The ribbons I used for these projects:Silver Satin with metallic edge, White Sheer with stitched center, Blue Sheer with stitched center.
These are the two projects we added the ribbon club ribbon to. Tomorrow I’ll be sharing the other two ornaments we created using other great Really Reasonable Ribbons.
In case you missed it we posted a great Seasonal Sale in the Etsy shop. Lot’s of cards, books and tags that are ready to ship quick for last minute orders. We sweetened the deal by setting the shipping to just $2.00 no matter how many items you add to your order. Shipping at $2.00 for the US only.
Okay…that’s my projects….keep on hopping over to Jessie. Don’t forget to leave everyone a little love for sharing their creativity!
I hope you all have a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G
