Fall wall hanging round 2

Here is the second wall hanging I made this week…this time in a Fall theme. The base is a super sturdy page from a chipboard book and I’ve layered lots of patterned papers from Simple Stories a sweet Thanksgiving image from Graphic’s Fairy and the new fav seam binding trim for Fall from RRR.

Yes Heather before you leave me a snarky comment….that is a tofurky turkey on that platter : ) He’s gonna eat it with vegan ramen noodle salad.  lol

Loving these large bingo cards from Simple Stories. I’ll be getting a huge delivery from them this week so be on the lookout in the Etsy shop. I’ll be adding lot’s more of the cards and patterned papers. We have many in stock now…hop on over and take a look.

I layered some pretty fall leaves, a stamped and inked tag and a poofy bow of brown seam binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used it also for hanging. Glittery chipboard corners and vintage buttons are the perfect finishing touch.

Thanks to all who left me lovely Birthday wishes. I’m recovering today from being a year older by having a little shopping spree at my fav RRR from my BFF Heather. Thank you  : ) I’ll be waiting by the mailbox for this order lol. My day started at 4 am getting up with D.H. who volunteered to park cars for a tennis fundraiser, then Alex up at 6 for tennis tournament, then I worked at the shop, then out for a lovely family dinner : ) It’s never a dull moment around here! Thanks to Anja and my dear Mom for sending in the beautiful flowers and cards. They will certainly brighten up the shop.

Sweet Vintage Halloween Wall Hanging

Just popping in to share one of the sweet vintage wall hangings I mentioned in yesterdays post. Better late than never right?? LOL

Simple Stories papers and bingo card layered on a super sturdy chipboard book page.

Pretty chocolatey colored seam binging ribbon from RRR to make a nice poofy bow topped off with vintage button.

Extra charming Halloween image from Karen at Graphic’s Fairy. I love love love that cap on the little boy : ) I’ve added more buttons here also…this time in a champagne color, an inked doily and stamped tag. Glittery chipboard corners for extra dimension.

Tiny brass hinges donated by Jane( thanks Jane ) to hang the collage with more of the chocolatey ribbon. There’s one more collage ready to post tomorrow….next time it’s for a vintage Fall-Thanksgiving theme : )

Heading off to the shop today to packed some goodies to ship…then maybe I’ll create some more collages. Hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G

What fun it was to play paper yesterday with Donna and Patsy. A.K.A. Fantsy Pantsy. lol I tell these two gals they should take their show to Las Vegas…they are sooo funny! I got almost three new wall hanging projects done…but then when I went to pack them up to take them home to get pics…I realized I hadn’t put any kind of hanger on them???? Really??? That’s what I get for working in totally fun chaos . Thanks girls for the laughs. Thanks to Jane also for dropping in with all the crafty goodies! Can’t wait to use them : )

Thankfully I had a few projects done ahead so here is some Christmas cards I made last week using Simple Stories papers and RRR trims. I think they’re just as sweet as can be : )

I’m all serious business today…until Brandy shows up that is. LOL Hope she has a nice morning of training at work : ) Hope you all enjoy and happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) G

Delight in the little things mini

My very very dear friend Jane who normally brings me in challenging items to work into my projects through me a curve ball Tuesday…she brought me in some tabbed dividers. WHAT????? Something NORMAL??? No Feathers or spoons?? Or peat pots??? Just when I thought I had her figured out I was a long way from St. Louis Louis.

So I thought to myself…”self you should try and do something different too!”  Here is something I don’t normally do…Go Simple : )

I can hear the collective “awwww”. Pooh Bear has a special place in all our hearts. And piglet too. Maybe it was your first soft squishy toy to sleep with? I found these Pooh die cuts that had glitter on them. SOLD!!! And they go so well with the Simple Stories Baby Steps paper. The trim of course is from RRR.

I suppose I’ll have to plan to create something very over the top today to make up for being simple on Tuesday right??? I’ve got Donna and Patsy coming in to play today…so that should be no problem lol.

Hope you all have a wonderful day and find some time to be creative : )

Happy Labor Day…and Merry Christmas ?????

Yep…I know it’s an odd combination….but why be normal right??? I have a request at the end of this post for the local peeps so please make sure you read to the end : )

I used a variety of papers here along with some sweet little die cuts, chipboard, buttons, and trims from RRR. I think the burlap trim should be on everything Christmas. I’m getting to the end of my burlap stash of red though…does this constitute and actual emergency???

Hoorayyy for giant chipboard snowflakes!!!

This flower may be a bit too poofy…but it’s hard to stop when you’re adding layers right???

Okay…down to the serious business. One of my local Peep’s Sister recently lost her home and everything in it to fire. Thankfully no one was injured. We are trying to help her in in a small way by taking a donation of gently used Christmas ornaments so that her family can try to have a happy holiday despite their loss. If you can help we ask that you bring the items to the shop where we’ll display a donation box until the end of September. If you donate…I’ll take 10% off your order to thank you for helping give this family a little bit of Christmas cheer. I know I can find some nice things for them in my stash of decor. ***All my friends who know me well have just fallen out of their chairs from laughing so hard….I’m sorry for any injuries that might have caused****
