No Jane Today : (

My Dear Friend Jane was a little under the weather today after  having an asthma attack and didn’t get to come play paper with me for our regular Tuesday  date : ( Hope she is feeling better soon. With the weather in the 100’s again maybe she should stay in for a while.

I did get several nice projects done today to keep me inside in the air conditioning.

I layered lot’s of vintage images and pretty paper patterns then added more of the burlap flowers, buttons, and a tag made from a page from an antique law book. I also added one of the little party favor bags : )

I added a sweet little bow and trim to this card made from lovely seam binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I’ve layered in one of my favorite images of a vintage ticket from Graphic’s Fairy.

Stitching adds a nice detail. The inked doily helps to soften the edges.

Hopefully Jane will be able to come play next week…I had to keep myself company watching reruns of Phineas and Ferb on Netflix. I had a little gifty surprise for her…guess now it’s a get well soon gifty : )
