I’m having so much fun creating projects with these great little covered tags. Today’s project is a gift to put a gift in.
I could see this little bag being re purposed into storage or decor for a craft room. I would use it to hold some lovely little bits of trim or lace : )
I used a sweet image from Karen at the Graphic’s Fairy and gave it a nice painted and inked chipboard frame. Layered over a pretty punched scallop and inked doily. I was able to fit 4 of my light aqua tags here and the chocolate brown reinforcing circles really help anchor the light colors. There’s also a dreamy pale ribbon bow and gathered lace with vintage button. I finished this bag off with a little resin lock from Melissa Francis and some pearly accents on the scallops.
This little bag came with a super strong handle so it won’t a problem gifting something heavy in it.
The weather has been much nicer and warmer here and I really enjoyed spending some time outside after dinner pulling weeds out of my meager little planters. Wish I had more of a green thumb. I envisioned my curb appeal looking more like Better Homes and Gardens than Gardening for Idiots. Oh well….I’ll just have more time to work in our veggie garden right??? LOL
Well it’s another busy day ahead so I better get going. Hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy some time to be creative. G
What a gorgeous gift bag!!!! I love the way you used tags on this — so genius of you!
Awesome!
So beautiful. That’s a very special gift bag, even if it only contains a lollipop as the actual gift inside it!
Your attention to detail is amazing. I love how you have taken such a humble paper bag and turned it into a work of art.
